GMC Sierra Elevation Edition Features and Look Get Bold

Sometimes you just want a new car or truck that offers something a little different from most other vehicles on the road. If a hardcore monochromatic look is what you’re aiming for, then check out the hot body and 2015 GMC Sierra Elevation Edition features.

This special edition Sierra will arrive at Ewing Buick GMC later this year and offers a distinctive look with premium features.

“Much in the same way the Sierra Denali and Sierra HD Denali models raised the standard for premium pickup trucks, the Sierra Elevation Edition will surprise and excite customers shopping for a sport pickup,” said Duncan Aldred, US vice president of Buick and GMC, in a press release. “With its striking looks, sophisticated connectivity features and legendary capability, the Elevation Edition raises the standard of what a sport pickup truck can be.”

The Elevation Edition will give you a body-colored grille surround, color-keyed door handles, mirror caps, side molding, and front and rear bumpers for a monochromatic look. While the official pictures show the truck in black, it will be available in other colors.

The package also adds premium LED headlights, fog lamps, and black-painted 20-inch aluminum-alloy wheels. Convenience features include remote keyless entry, power mirrors, a 110-volt AC power outlet, LED cargo box lighting, a 4.2-inch Intellilink color audio system, Bluetooth connectivity, and OnStar with 4G LTE Connectivity.

The GMC Sierra is one of our most popular models here at Ewing Buick GMC, and the interest in our fully-stocked inventory of 2015 Sierra models proves that it’s going to be another banner year for your favorite truck.

If you’re considering upgrading to the 2015 Sierra, we have a bit of news you might want to hear. GMC will be launching three special edition versions—the Carbon Edition, Carbon 20 Edition, and Carbon 22 Edition. These three unique takes on the GMC Sierra add just the right amount of additional style to a truck that is already well known for that quality.

“The beauty of the new Sierra lies in its strength and sophistication,” said Stuart Pierce, Sierra marketing manager. “But for customers wanting to stand out and make a strong statement, the Sierra Carbon Edition models are the answer.”

The Carbon Edition, Carbon 20 Edition, and Carbon 22 Edition come in either the two- or four-wheel drive format and offer the 4.3-liter EcoTec3 V6 standard (5.3-liter EcoTec3 V8 optional).

The Carbon Edition is based on the 1500 double cab and offers a black painted grille, two carbon fiber appearance graphics, body-colored door handles and mirror caps, and equipment such as keyless entry, 100-volt power outlet, and LED cargo box lighting.

The Carbon 20 Edition is based on the SLE double cab model and gets the same aesthetic and technological additions in addition to 20” aluminum alloy wheels.

The Carbon 22 Edition is offered as a LE double- or crew cab model and adds black tubular side rails, remote start, fog lamps, universal garage remote, dual-zone climate controls, and 22” black alloy wheels.

GMC Canyon Delivers on Fuel Economy and Power

How would you like a truck with a 3.6-liter V6 engine, a six speed automatic transmission, 305 horsepower and 269 lb-ft of torque–all while getting 21 miles per gallon? That kind of combination of fuel economy and power seems impossible, but with according to the report from the EPA, that’s exactly what the 2015 GMC Canyon has.

2015 GMC Canyon

The GMC Canyon tested for 18 mpg in the city and 26 mpg on the highway. Combined, these figures lead to the 21 mpg rating overall. Only one other GM vehicle, the Chevy Colorado, matches these figures. No other small pickup truck gets that kind of fuel economy.

And, in our opinion, no other truck matches the Canyon for it features. The quiet interior has a power driver seat and can house an 8-inch infotainment touch screen. Plus, the Canon keeps you safe with forward collision alert and lane departure warning.

The car experts noted the Sierra’s tough and durable 6.6-liter Duramax Diesel engine, its towing capabilities, cruise control, and exhaust brake. The judges also liked the Sierra’s 8-inch screen for entertainment and navigation.

The Ram 3500 came in second place with its Cummins turbo-diesel engine and the Ford came in the third spot with its Powerstroke turbo-diesel engine.
