Buick’s Avista Recognized as the 2016 Concept Car of the Year

2016 Concept Car of the Year
The Buick Avista Concept Has Style

Buick is taking huge strides in the automotive industry. Their cars are stylish, equipped with impressive technology, and they are consistently some of the safest vehicles on the market.

That’s why it comes as no surprise that the Buick Avista received the 2016 Concept Car of the Year and the Most Significant Concept Vehicle of the Year at the 2016 North American Concept Vehicle Awards ceremony at the Concours d’Elegance of America in Plymouth, Michigan.

Voters were swayed by the sleek, elegant appearance of the Avista and the impressive technology features. The 20-inch aluminum wheels with color-toned accents are a nice touch, and the touch-pad door handles are futuristic in the best way.

On the inside of the vehicle, drivers are treated to premium leather and aluminum details that make the interior appear ultra-modern. The latest technologies are accessible in the cabin of the car through touchscreens on the center console and instrument panel.

As for the engine, voters were impressed with the 3.0-liter twin turbo V6 engine that the Avista offers. It also features rear-wheel drive and twin exhaust outlets.

Buick has surprised many people by being on the cutting edge of new vehicle technology and style. They have established themselves in the luxury car market, and they don’t appear to be going anywhere.

Pokemon Go in Dallas, TX

What better way could you imagine celebrating Halloween than by going to a throwback party with Pokemon costumes? That’s exactly what is happening on Saturday, October 22 at Quixotic World on 2824 Main Street in Dallas, Texas. This party most certainly is not limited only to fans of Pokemon. Whether you’re a nerd, geek, or someone from any other fandom who likes to party, you’re welcome at this year’s event. Of course, Pokemon costumes are encouraged, but you’re welcome to wear any other type of costume as well. The point is to have fun and enjoy yourselves. You do have to be at least 18-years-old to enter, but you have to be 21 to drink. There is going to be two Pokestops on-site, and there will be lures all night. Guests will also be treated to a cash bar and a candy bar, along with live DJ sets all night. The party costs $15 at the door (or they can be bought online), and it runs from 7pm-11pm. You will receive a coupon at the Pokemon Bash to use for a free drink at the Stranger Things after party at the Taboo Lounge. We can’t wait to see you on October 22. Ewing Buick GMC is excited to see the turnout around here.
