Fourth of July is right around the corner, and maybe you’re finding yourself wracking your brain about where to take the family because you didn’t think to make plans ahead of time. Or maybe your family cookout is a different day, and you’re just looking for something to do on the Fourth. If you live in or near Plano, Texas, Plano’s All-American Fourth celebration is coming back for 2016 and provides a fun, exciting, and free way to spend the evening. The place is Oak Point Park & Nature Preserve. Parking is available for free at Collin College, Plano Centre, and First United Methodist Church. As stated above, admission is free. Festivities begin as early as 5 PM, when the food truck vendors open for business. A live DJ will amp up excitement during a pre-Fireworks party with live music, while the fireworks themselves will begin at 9:30. Plano’s All-American Fourth will celebrate the Fourth of July with a fireworks show choreographed to music. Viewers will be able to enjoy the show by turning the radio station to 97.5 KLAK to hear the music from their car or radio. Come to the show for a night of live music, great local food, and, of course, a dazzling fireworks display. Most of us from Ewing Buick GMC will be there in Plano, TX for all the fun!
