Consumer Reports Says Choose Buick over Other Luxury Brands

Consumer Reports Say Choose BuickAs one of the most widely-consulted consumer magazines, Consumer Reports is an important source to impress. For Buick, this means setting a shining example of luxury with the newest Buick Regal sedan. After comparing the American sedan with the more expensive BMW 328 and Mercedes-Benz C250, Consumer Reports has decided that when it comes to choosing your next car, you should choose Buick.

“[The] Regal beat the Volvo S60 in a head-to-head road test. Ultimately, the Regal wound up finishing just one point shy of the class-leading BMW 328i and tied the Mercedes-Benz C250 for second place in the organization’s overall ratings of upscale sport sedans—while costing thousands less.”

With Buick’s recent move toward more sporty performance cars and away from their dowdy reputation that formed in over the past few years, the American brand has been able to give German carmakers a run for their money. Priced at only $34,485, the Regal Premium comes with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbo engine and front wheel drive, offering plenty of luxury for those looking for a great value. If you happen to be one of those people, stop in to Ewing Buick GMC today and see why Consumer Reports says, “Choose Buick!”

GMC Announces 2015 Sierra Carbon Edition Models

The GMC Sierra is one of our most popular models here at Ewing Buick GMC, and the interest in our fully-stocked inventory of 2015 Sierra models proves that it’s going to be another banner year for your favorite truck.

If you’re considering upgrading to the 2015 Sierra, we have a bit of news you might want to hear. GMC will be launching three special edition versions—the Carbon Edition, Carbon 20 Edition, and Carbon 22 Edition. These three unique takes on the GMC Sierra add just the right amount of additional style to a truck that is already well known for that quality.

“The beauty of the new Sierra lies in its strength and sophistication,” said Stuart Pierce, Sierra marketing manager. “But for customers wanting to stand out and make a strong statement, the Sierra Carbon Edition models are the answer.”

The Carbon Edition, Carbon 20 Edition, and Carbon 22 Edition come in either the two- or four-wheel drive format and offer the 4.3-liter EcoTec3 V6 standard (5.3-liter EcoTec3 V8 optional).

The Carbon Edition is based on the 1500 double cab and offers a black painted grille, two carbon fiber appearance graphics, body-colored door handles and mirror caps, and equipment such as keyless entry, 100-volt power outlet, and LED cargo box lighting.

The Carbon 20 Edition is based on the SLE double cab model and gets the same aesthetic and technological additions in addition to 20” aluminum alloy wheels.

The Carbon 22 Edition is offered as a LE double- or crew cab model and adds black tubular side rails, remote start, fog lamps, universal garage remote, dual-zone climate controls, and 22” black alloy wheels.

Let’s talk price: the Carbon Edition retails for $33,075; the Carbon 20 Edition starts at $38,275; and the Carbon 22 Edition starts at $42,270.
