We’ve been hearing about Buick’s new small SUV, the Envision, for quite a while now. Now that it has had its big debut over in China, we’ve finally gotten a good look at it as well—and we definitely weren’t disappointed. We’re already anxious to get it over from the Chinese market to ours. The good news? Buick seems to be cooperating, as sources told Autoblog Buick dealers can expect the new Buick SUV sometime during the fall of 2015.
“We can’t confirm anything, but clearly it is a very nicely designed and executed product that is very much a Buick,” said Duncan Aldred, Buick sales chief in America said. That sounds like a winking “yes” if we’ve ever heard one.
The Envision will bolster an already-strong Buick SUV lineup that currently includes the Encore and Enclave. The Envision will be slotted right between those vehicles. Come in to Ewing Buick GMC to check them out today and decide which Buick SUV is right for you!
Following the recent success of the Encore and Enclave, Buick plans to expand its reach into the crossover SUV market with the new Buick Envision.
Just this week, Buick unveiled new photos detailing the luxurious look and feel of the new Envision, and we here at Ewing Buick GMC can’t wait to see it hit our showroom floor.
But just when will that be? It looks like the 2016 model will be the first Envision to come to America. Buick has already successfully launched the Envision on the Chinese auto market.
As far as size, the Envision falls somewhere between the Encore and Enclave. However, the Envision distinguishes itself from those two SUVs and all other Buick vehicles with its capabilities. The Envision is the first ever Buick to sport an Off-Road driving mode. The Envision is able to do this with the four-cylinder engine and six-speed automatic transmission.
With all of this, the Envision also promises class-leading fuel economy at 27 mpg. Check out the Envision when it arrives at Ewing Buick GMC.
